On the other hand, Darjeeling, known as the "Queen of the Hills," offers a distinct colonial charm combined with breathtaking views of the Himalayan range. Famous for its tea gardens, Darjeeling invites travelers to explore its lush plantations, where the world-famous Darjeeling Tea is grown. The old-world charm of Darjeeling can be felt as you visit heritage sites like the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, also known as the Toy Train, and stroll along the charming streets that echo its colonial past. The region’s vibrant markets, vibrant Tibetan culture, and stunning viewpoints make it an exciting destination for all types of travelers.
