Itinerary

• Day 1

  Arrival in Gangtok

  Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station in Siliguri. Upon arrival, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. Gangtok is a blend of modernity and tradition, nestled amidst the Himalayan range, offering a beautiful view of the Kanchenjunga. Check-in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, explore MG Road, the most popular market area in Gangtok. It is a lively street lined with restaurants, shops, and cafes, perfect for a relaxing walk and local shopping. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

• Day 2

  Gangtok Sightseeing

  After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, head out for a full day of sightseeing in Gangtok. Your adventure begins with a visit to Tashi View Point, where you will enjoy a panoramic view of the Kanchenjunga range and the valleys below. Next, visit the Rumtek Monastery, one of the most important Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Sikkim. The monastery is known for its spiritual significance and stunning architecture. Take some time to meditate and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. From there, you will proceed to Do Drul Chorten and Banjhakri Water Falls, two of the most picturesque locations in Gangtok. The Banjhakri Water Falls is a tranquil spot that offers beautiful photo opportunities. In the evening, visit Enchey Monastery and take a walk in the local markets for some souvenirs. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

• Day 3

  Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

  Today, embark on an adventurous excursion to Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The journey itself is mesmerizing as you drive along winding roads surrounded by lush green mountains and snow-capped peaks. Upon arrival at Tsomgo Lake, you can enjoy activities like yak rides and boat rides in the lake. Next, head to Baba Mandir, dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a soldier who died near Nathula Pass. The temple holds great religious significance among locals and offers a spiritual experience. The scenic beauty around the temple is simply stunning. After completing your sightseeing, return to Gangtok in the evening and relax for the night. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

• Day 4

  Gangtok to Pelling

  After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your journey to Pelling, a town situated in West Sikkim. The drive takes you through beautiful landscapes, forests, and small villages. Upon reaching Pelling, check into your hotel. After some rest, you will head out to explore Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest and most important monasteries in Sikkim. The monastery offers splendid views of the Kanchenjunga range. Continue your sightseeing with a visit to Khecheopalri Lake, known as a sacred lake for Buddhists. It is surrounded by dense forests and is an ideal spot for meditation and relaxation. In the evening, take a walk through the local markets or enjoy a traditional Sikkimese dinner at one of the local restaurants. Overnight stay in Pelling.

• Day 5

  Pelling Sightseeing & Yuksom

  Today, after breakfast, drive to Yuksom, the historical town of Sikkim. It was the first capital of Sikkim, and it holds immense cultural and historical value. Here, you will visit the Dubdi Monastery, which is the oldest monastery in Sikkim, and learn about the history of Sikkim’s royal family. Next, head to the Rabdentse Ruins, which are the remnants of the second capital of Sikkim. The ruins offer an incredible view of the Kanchenjunga range. In the afternoon, enjoy some leisure time and stroll around the village. Yuksom is a place for tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Return to Pelling by evening. Overnight stay in Pelling.

• Day 6

  Pelling to Nathula Pass & Tsomgo Lake

  After breakfast, head back to Gangtok for your high-altitude adventure. The Nathula Pass, located at 14,140 feet, is a border pass between India and China. This journey will take you through picturesque terrains, and once you arrive, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and valleys. You will also be able to see the Indo-China border. After Nathula Pass, head to Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The serene lake is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty. You can also take part in activities like yak riding and visit the Baba Mandir nearby. In the evening, return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

• Day 7

  Departure

  After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Gangtok. You will be transferred to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey. Depending on your departure time, you can do some last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Gangtok.
