Itinerary

• Day 1

  Arrival in Gangtok

  Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Gangtok, a beautiful hill station nestled in the Eastern Himalayas. The journey takes around 4-5 hours, offering you scenic views of hills and valleys. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. You can spend your evening exploring MG Road, a popular area in Gangtok filled with local markets, cafes, and restaurants. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

• Day 2

  Gangtok Sightseeing

  After breakfast, set out for a day of sightseeing in Gangtok. Visit the Enchey Monastery, known for its historical and spiritual significance, followed by a visit to the Tashi Viewpoint for a panoramic view of Kanchenjunga and the surrounding mountains. Afterward, proceed to the Do Drul Chorten Stupa and the Himalayan Zoological Park, home to the rare red panda. In the evening, visit Banjhakri Waterfalls, a peaceful spot where you can take a relaxing walk through the forest. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

• Day 3

  Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

  Today, after an early breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake, a beautiful glacial lake situated at an altitude of 12,313 feet. The lake offers a stunning view, especially in the winter when it's surrounded by snow. After visiting Tsomgo Lake, proceed to Baba Mandir, dedicated to the memory of an Indian army soldier, Baba Harbhajan Singh. Spend time at this sacred temple, known for its unique history. In the evening, return to Gangtok and relax at your hotel. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

• Day 4

  Excursion to Nathula Pass (Optional)

  After breakfast, proceed for an optional excursion to Nathula Pass, a high-altitude pass on the Indo-China border, located at 14,140 feet. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas and a sense of adventure as you stand near the international border. Nathula is a restricted area, and permits are required. On the way back, visit Changu Lake, another beautiful destination that can be enjoyed along with your visit to Nathula Pass. Return to your hotel in Gangtok for an overnight stay.

• Day 5

  Departure from Gangtok

  After breakfast, check out from the hotel and take a scenic drive back to Bagdogra for your onward journey. You can also explore some local markets along the way if time permits. Your trip to Gangtok ends here, with unforgettable memories of your romantic getaway.
